Grasping,begging,pulling, pleading,
Fighting, crying, aching, bleeding,
Torn apart, I writhe with rage,
I thrash and tear against this cage.
Distrusting, suspecting,hurting, shouting,
Searching, dreaming, trying, doubting,
Hand-like bars form this jail.
I try to flee,but inevitably fail.
Banging,screaming,moaning,sighing,
Waiting, longing,hoping, dying,
Kept from flight, I sit in pain.
I'm reaching out to touch the rain.
