I let the hours pass me by tonight,
The moon tonight is full and bright,
It's a beautiful site.
I sat and looked from dark to almost day,
as the tree branches sway,
I wish I could stay awake until the moon fades away,
From dusk to dawn.
I also think that fear is within,
The dark is something unpredictable,
Hoping the mind is durable,
Life isn't a game,
There's no losing or a chance to win,
It's just like night and day.
Let the moon be the flashlight in your darkness,
Let the sun be your alertness.
Run wild as you can by day,
And let the power of the moon bring peace and brighten your night.
