 They say you would'nt amount to anything, But you have your gloves off, ready to fight, like a lion you have survived.   They say to you, that you would'nt and could'nt reach your dreams. Not  only have you reached your  dreams, You're still there and you continue to thrive.   They told  you, that no matter how hard you try, You will never, be all you can be.  Because of your past, they call you a dead beat.   Yet you're standing strong, proud, singing out loud, saying " You gotta stand for something even, if you stand alone. Yet,  without you, I've stood all alone, still standing on my feet.   They say to you, that someone who's been locked up, can never benefit anyone,   You scream out loud " I've fallen down a 1,000 time's, but I'm still alive!  I'm done with this madness, I've had more then enough.   , " If it wasn't for all the negative emotions, you instilled in me, Then i would'nt have been able to show you what I'm made of"   I tried time after time, to show you, my dreams and my  aspirations, but you chose not to listen, as i opened up my heart to you,   But I've learned along time ago, you find the truth in a child's eyes,  when the only limit is the sky,  I'm living proof,  I'm glad i dont see myself in you.
