But I'll take a sliver of his time
I'm not asking for his heart
Just an illusion for my mind
It's all pretend
Because I know in the end
He'll have to return
And the loneliness begins
I know it's not right
But it's to hard to fight
I want want what I want
so my fantasy takes flight
I just need help getting by
as the cold nights fly
I just want someone there
Even if it's all a lie.
