Thirteen without a dream

all her friends were ***ing

so she did the same thing

Who was there to tell her to stop

Pops was gone

Moma was a fiend

Even when she was home

She was still gone

Little glass to her dome

No planed parenthood

baby with a baby

Normal story in the Hood

Life was far from terrible

even farther from good

But she did what she had too

Wishes dont come true

But never say never

Knock on wood

Things were bad

so she tried To make them good

The man stood six feet

When she swallowed his meat

She thought herself dirty

But her daughter had to eat

After her first time

Her body grew weak

so discussed with herself

for a week she didn't eat

But like a city cop

she had a job to do

It was back to the

streets

Where her money grew

Life ain't fair

and damn show ain't cheap

At the expense of your soul

You gotta pay a fee

Sure it takes a tole

But you need money

You laugh to stop the cry

Cry to wash the pain

Always in baggy clothes

tryna hide the shame

You use a alias everyday

You forgot your own name

It gotta be a better way

Rain sleat or snow

ima get this doe

U ain't been where ia been

So really don't know

they killing matha***as for a Lil bit of dope

Selling all these women

Foe a Lil bit of hope

hanging on the block

wit a lil bit of rope

And this Is that shyt you don't know
