They say the most constant thing in life is change, well I beg to differ, cause somethin else that stays the same is that a man, is gone always be a man, and with that, i wanna give a shoutout to a named terry, i mean, you seen somethin that you wanted, but necessarily couldnt have, so you being that man, you set out to do what you had to do , and for that, i salute you my , see ever since that December 3rd day that you steered my ex-fiancee away, I aint put all of my heart into anything, not even this spoken word, see I reserve a lil space for heartbreak, a lil space for failure, a lil space for letdown, so when it happens the next time around, it wont catch me off guard, cause now, i keep my guard up, see for the longest i was wondering WTF, was my game no longer tight, was it somehting that i wasnt doing right, was the pipe as good as good as she claimed it to be, or was she just sayin that there because she so called love me, thats really some stuff that a had to ponder, see I learned the hard way, that when you on that gentleman tip, you open up your heart to a lot of negative ish, I'd rather have someone take a pis on methan to play with my feelings, cause feelings are a mutha***a, especially when you a brotha and known to not have any 90% of the time, yet I saty being this nice guy, even though I know most of the time that we finish last, cause a lot of these women want a thats all bad, and Im only bad some of the time, cause in a lot of they minds, good boys are no fun, and I aint need Mary J. to say that to know that those words are real, see it kill me that if I do somethin nice,its for an alterior motive, aint nothin ever genuine from a , I pay with my time to sometimes buy a woman some attention, buy her affection, buy her closure, buy her companionship, al lthe things that money cant buy, and even when i do get hersomething that money cant buy, it still aint ***in good enough, thats why some s just quit, and , I cant blame em, cause when your everything still aint good enough, then it aint no purpose, see i dont care how good ya is, how long ya money is, how well dressed you is, how educated you are, If you got a chick that subpar, used to less, unappreciativechick, none of that gone matter, but Goodfellas remember this, dont ever be like me and let a woman change your ways, stay the same, if you a good , stay that , cause one day, your queen gone come, and all that negative BS that happened in the past, you can toast to that, sip that pain and swallow that rebirth, cause a good woman, will always recognize, a real man's worth
