 For so long I had been content,

Just being my husband's wife;

I had never dreamed my world would change,

But then a younger man entered my life.

Casting an unbreakable spell,

At the time that we first met;

Creating a magical moment,

One I'm not likely to ever forget.

Without our exchanging a word,

I took him into my arms;

I knew there could be no turning back,

For my heart was captured by subtle charms.

Gazing into his sparkling eyes,

I was easily entranced;

To this younger man in my life,

I must take the time to say:

"This over-whelming love that I feel,

Continues to grow with each passing day."

Despite all the future may hold,

These feelings will never end;

I know that for him I'll always be,

His first true love, his mother, and his friend.
