Clear your mind slow down your pace
Take a deep breath put a smile on your face.
Reassure yourself that all is and will be okay
You’re one step ahead because you’ve found a way
To get away from it all for an hour or just a few minutes
To release the tension and fully bask within it.
Find a comfortable spot on the couch or in a chair
Release all of your worries into the air.
See them fly away towards the sky
As you sit back and relax now close your eyes.
Allow the silence to massage away
The pain and stress of the day.
Gather your thoughts one at a time
Putting them all in the straightest of lines
In no particular order of priority with the only intention
Of continuing peace without contention.
Of who or what should be at the top of your list
Learning to bow your head instead of raising your fists
If you ever become unsure of what to do or say
Take the time out to kneel and pray.
There is always a way there is always hope
Even when you feel the last strand of your rope.
Let no one tell you it can or will not be
He said, “I have faith in you so have faith in me.â€
So at any given time when you need it to cease
Give it all to God he will give you inner peace.
