Then why am I on my own

Stuck in this universe all alone Eternal loneliness is what it seems

Waiting for him to come save me

Who doesn't want a love of their own

Someone who doesn't have to be told

How to love you

Someone who knows how to perfectly hold you

The missing piece to my soul

Relationships these days seem to only be a temporary fixation

Not love just infatuation

If there's a soulmate for everyone

Then why does it seems like I will be waiting forever

And they say that you will meet your mate when your ready

Well if you ask me

I am ready

I have spent so many years alone

That it seems as if I'm floating without gravity

And no one is there to take a hold of me

No one there to pull me down

So I lay lifeless floating around

Endlessly, hopelessly, waiting to be found

By a soulmate that I can't see

It's as if he is tiny particles in the air

And when I reach for him he's never there

Then were is mine
