I don't write just for fun. This is my addiction, obsession. I space out when I get it my zone. I let my feelings out. Some times these thoughts just hit me. I must supply my need. A spirit has taken over me. In riddles I began to speak. I can not snap out of it. My left hand has a mind of it's own. Put a computer or a phone in front of me, my hand being to flow. My words often amuse me. I'm in disbelief, it was me to create this very thing. I bleed blue, red, black ink. My heart spills on these sheets. This poetry is my everyday life. I sleep, eat and write. Even in my dreams, these words come to me so naturally. My mind never rest. I could not walk away because my thoughts would not allow. This is my habit, I can not break. This is my fix, I need it to maintain day from day. I can not fight this temptation, my thoughts I must express. My hand must feel a computer, phone or a pen. If not, the shaking and itching will begin. "Hey, my name is Paris and I am a Poetryhead. I been addicted to poetry since the age 11, that's been 10 years now. I was introduced to it when I had to write a poem about my neighborhood but I ended up writing about my life. Anyway, it makes me feel good and happy inside. I tried to stop many, many, many times but I guess I'm soul tied. It really helps ease my pain. It feels good to be surrounded by people like me and understand the riddles in my head. You all get the mystery normal people don't seem to comprehend. I love I can be me and not be judged. Thank you all, this is my intervention."
