United we stand, with pen and paper in hand,
writing down thoughts only a poet can understand.
We write without fear or judgement, without fear
of punishment, not worried about who likes it or doesn't.
We write what inspires us in our soul, trying to reach an
audience is our goal.
We write to escape the everday stress of reality,
That's just part of the poets mentality.
United we stand as poets, writing down
words most people can't express,
capturing the silent voices of the world and the words we
all try to suppress.
To be a poet is our given gift, writing down
thoughts only a poet knows exist.
As poets we must stand united, without us
the world wouldn't be that exciting. So
we as poets must keep writing, fighting to
be heard from the voice that's be hiding,
to every poet out there keep your pen and
paper close and always keep writing, with each of you
