Catch a word, and
Try to write it down.
They come so fast
To my mind,
Like a flash
To my insight.
Knowing what u know,
And saying what u know to say.
Did u know the brains capacity
Is to carry 200 words a day?
They all seem jumbled up
and awry to me.
I have to concentrate
on my words
to get them precise.
Though they don't always
sound so nice.
My vice is twisted
there's no getting around it.
But the way I've found
is to Write right and
to fellow the spoken word,
and to avoid the absurd.
I am not disturbed, (at the moment)
I'm trying to stay correct
as I put my mind in check.
Staying correct in my writing,
and show no disrespect.
So catch a word and
protect it.
Help it to grow
into all you can ever know.
Have them to say
when it's time to say it.
