Is a teardrop really just a teardrop?
When the moisture escapes my eyes
Falling off the edge of my cheek
Hitting the ground like rain
Nourishing the earth
Quenching its thirst
Feeding off my pain and sorrow
Helping some seed
Transform into a bud
Morph into a flower
Leading an entire garden
But I can't cry profusely
Or else I'll drown
In my own self pity
The floodgates have opened
The dam has cracks in it
Self destruction
Suicide
So answer this question
Is a teardrop really just a teardrop?
