Poetry follows within me, a poet is what I was Destined to be, putting verbs and nouns together, making sense of this crazy world we exist in, I am bound to make sense of my life span, what a disasters time we live in, children are being executed and excluded from life, while minorities are still fighting for their rights, I guess having a conscience is extinct and it's all nonsense how we think, I think that's why sometimes I sit back and take a drink, to escape the truth and the question of why life is so ruthless, people walking around clueless and everybody has excuses, but the truth is we are all abusive, taking advantage of your fellow man Just trying to get ahead, walking around mindless and spiritually dead, how about instead we feed our souls and enlighten our minds, appreciate the journey that God has prepared for us and let our light shine, because the gifts that He has given to us is finer than wine, so pick up your cup of life and don't be stingy, share with a few and savor the taste of the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon you.
