Like the sun and like the moon, there's spirit and there's man

Similar, but different, connected as a force

When the sun is idle, the moon is active,

Yet the sun..is always the source

The moon only shines by the light of the sun

Appearing at different hours yet remaining as one

For all a man is, is the shell of his soul

Without both halves, there's no whole

By day im man, by night im soul

the only time i exit my shell is when my eyes are closed..and im free to roam

Only to be pulled back down to earth, and back into my home..

though we travel separately, we are never really alone

We are one..without each other we have nothing

Time would not progress without night and day

I am a being of the earth, and a being of the sky

in a continuous cycle.... we rotate

The moon..guided by the mind..because of this i am human

The sun...guided by the heart...this can cause confusion

Before i found my shell, in the sky my sun would dwell

Longing to touch, to see, to hear, and to smell

Once found...the sun adapted to this new found land

That was nothing but a moon..but once joined by sun.. formed man
