I want to know where the applause is. I have lived a hard life of not jumping to conclusion, of fighting for what I need to fight for, for never backing down when it was the right thing to do. I gave life to you and I give you and your mother due. I love both of you and I treat you with respect. Not because that is what I am obligated to do but I consider it a a debt. One that I can never repay.
I have excelled at everything that I did and no one paid me any attention because there was no drama. It doesnt have to be a thundering applause but just a little something to let me know I am doing well in this life.
