her speech is broken
she's not clearly spoken
her jaws are wired shut
he tried to shut her up
she's still living
she's still talking
she's still walking
the bullet went in and left
her body
thinking she was dead
he raised his arm
putting one in his head
I never imagined so much red
not even on Valentines day
she's a rose with a broken stem
and a few broken limbs
reaching out to touch the hem
