when we as children - grew into men - when did we adopt - the lying gene

when we look at life - at choices - whether to stay single - or take a wife

when was it ok - to play the game - with notifying the other - that what's said and whats done is not the same

why can't men - just say the truth - why can't our word - be our proof

why can't we say - that my heart is not free right now - i have chapters yet to close

why can't we learn the meaning - of the different colors of the rose

yellow my friend - not ready right now

white - innocence

single red rose - I Love You

red group of roses - love, beauty, courage and respect

pink - appreciation, thank you

yellow with red tip - i am falling in love with you

orange - desire, enthusiasm

peach appreciation - let's get together

lavender - love at first sight

black - death and/or farewell

blue - the unattainable, the impossible

why can't men - buy the truth of the heart roses

take the shades off to reveal the windows of their soul

and tell the woman the truth about their intentions

about the plans that they can or can not hold

is it because we as men love to collect

play with things when we can

no longer can we sit under the old saying

a man - going to be a man

a man takes charge - lets his word be his bond

collects himself to offer his woman his best

clears her mind of vices in her past

passes lie detectors and the rest of life's test

leaves his cell where she is free to answer

and trusts her for her doings and not the crimes of others in your past

why can't men move to love

and build without worries - a home that will forever - last
