I'm Black, I'm melanated,
and I'm proud,
Sometimes I'm silent, sometimes I'm humble,

I have morals, I have character, I have values,

My moods reflects the often changing times, that affects my mind,
but I never let it disrupt my shine,

461 years later And Blacks are still begging to be treated right!
