I've got a grand new love.
I share in the mutuality of love and respect
Alongside my companions.
Those who don't know have yet to learn.
Those who know but chose not,
Lack in value like fake jewels.
New found friendships
Are ways to start anew.
I'm not into labels, categories,
Status quos, or trends
I Strive Endlessly and Love Freely
Without Obstruction, Regret, Trials or Hesitation.
Spiritual connections give insight
With the hopes of attaining agape.
Haters and naysayers
Are the obstacles of my pathway.
Refusing to give up,
I choose to Reach Into Someone's Existence
and Uplift Positivity
I am part my mom, part my dad
But all me.
Independently driven yet
Seamlessly infused with a genuine love
That only God and few will ever understand.
Riddled with flaws I fall short
As temptation has its way with me.
Onward in battle I fight for my destiny
A more profound understanding of me.
Determined to live fulfilled
With love and peace
I reach and reach and reach
Agape's horizon is so close
Yet so far away.
