Sheriff/Outlaw

Once I was the sheriff

Now I'm the outlaw

Couldn't afford to pay the tariff

Stranded but managed to crawl

Rode into to town with plans to do damage

But my hubris was my downfall

Planned to take the gold and make off like a bandit

But was a split second too slow on the draw

My badge, it suits you sheriff, I didn't think you'd manage

When I ended up on the wrong side of the law
