Still Black (Part 3)The Black & White

CATEGORY

Now if you ask me! I would

say the color white is not bad

at all though bland it is the basic

color to make the grayscale

pale to steel

By now I am asking why tan?

you accomplish shades of tan

sometimes a honey brown if you

use the right oils

must be nice for you to spend the

whole summer able to see the

world’s darker side with a face

reflected in your own burnt umber

stage

Don’t change the color of your eyes!

stop putting those hazel contacts in

that glistens with shades of green

Your own eyes are beautiful the gray-blue

it says you.

You’re like a flower

sensitive way down to the root

not sure whether you should squander or sleep as a stale tall blonde should you just cover your face and weep?

Were two of the same

you're like the sky

cascading with milky gleams of

star kissed twinkles

I am the essence of Earth

tall brown ruffled like the steadfast oak tree and I know the language of every leaf

Where both just women one know lesser than the other just women that tend to watch too many commercials from a TV world

that we try to build around what’s really real

you see it’s just the black and white of it

like you and me
