tell me a lie and I'll
tell you the truth
dig beneath earth
showing you proof
still I don't know
a damn thang thang
can't make it rain
look at a bird making
it sing if there's 2 sides
we're all in between
crushed on all sides
of the falling situation
teachers taught me to
teach myself preachers
taught me to read it
myself those who gave
to me taught me how to
do it myself though one
man may be filthy rich
and the other dirt poor
neither one has clean hands
men want power more than
anything and they are taught through magic tricks of the trade every player knows how to play that
power can be bought
it matters not if the
bank robber is caught
poverty is a broken heart
that never mends the
cancer cell of many men
those who understand
see things from a different
view point money talks
and always tells the truth
