Eyes OF A Child
The stars shine distant in his eyes
no one knows the loneliness he hides
Along the consciousness of his pride
his minds eye soars with the viciousness of life
cultivating something he just can't identify
Living with the freedom that hides behind a childs starry eyes
looking through the window of truth
seeing the pain of what has been, is and will be
learning about the death of one to preserve the life of another
knowing that the death of the old; creates life for the new
awaiting a time when he may enjoy life as it really should be
