I did'nt mean to let the sun go down

with you mad at me, I didn't know you were

going toward the sky, when you get your wings

I was wondering if you would teach me how to fly

I don't know what got into me that day

I don't know why I did not tell you to stay

I don't know what got into me that day

I've been calling on angels hoping you would come

I just want to see you once more

I would do just about anything to hear you

knocking on my door, feelig like you knew
