One bomb dropped Can tear a world apart Destroy what’s in a human heart I’m antiwar but I’m pro veteran Lost so many I love came back and couldn’t Explain the drug it’s hard to look someone in the eyes who seem to have seen everybody die There once was an old testament war Then the new wine was poured Calmed everybody who wanted to fight Peace came under starlight Sometimes it’s hard to see the sky at night Bending over backwards trying to see a sign It can only be seen from the center of it all Where were you when the towers came down Where were you when the showers came down On New Orleans Where were you when they shot our King Where were you when a boy name Travon just wanted The freedom to be a child Poor Puerto Rico treated like America’s Redheaded stepchild The longer we stay the more we’ll see Drink up until the bottles empty
