cut through this space
and accelerated its pace
as it traveled from your lips
and resonated in mind
my mind mulled over
this information it received
my sensory organs bled
bled from the implication
of what they perceived
stunned by this
tears began to flow
uncontrollably they flowed
as my heart
finally understood
the messages
my brain had communicated
my heart erupted
the heat filled my body
i began to perspire
as the heat made my body
its final resting place
like ash covering the slopes
the pain covered my heart
and hardened
solidifying
and creating a coat
around my sophacating heart
the pressure it emmitted
fossilized the broken pieces
which had began to fly
as my heart crumbled
however like a phoenix
rising from the ashes
i hope to rise stronger
made better
turned into a stranger
that my past wouldn’t recognize
a better self whose heart
is stronger to withstand
the pressures that claim
they had previously broken it
