Running from Reality
Reality is so hard to face,
Good to have some space,
Even though there’s no escape,
No matter how fast the run,
Or the distance placed,
Eventually it must be faced,
The stack of bills,
Still needs to be paid,
The kids,
Still have needs,
That need to meet.
So,
Take a breath,
Inhale…
Exhale…
Face, it,
Can’t run,
Can’t hide,
In the end,
Reality will still be there,
Waiting…
Lurking…
Run,
No escape,
No hiding place!
