Or Fighting Nazis until blood spilled
Rather Black souls were freed by black bodies
Black and white baseball players together in hotel lobbies
And working together as a team on a field oddly
Run ni66er run, hit and catch that ball, then steal another base
Entertain and play our game until sweat drenches your face
If that ni66er can travel and shower with the likes of Babe Ruth
Then maybe he ain’t that uncouth
He!!, one day he could be my neighbor....
