Power concedes nothing without demand
Success comes from conflict, the mind, heart, and hand
We need to sacrifice, seek advice, then plot and plan
Take action and learn lessons from the past
Beg for forgiveness and never wait to ask (the answer is always no!)
The masters for crumbs and pitiful sums
Our net worth versus theirs is just a stack of ones
When we complain they show disdain like driving by some bums
In the streets - we the masses in this particular analogy
Are the ones holding up signs but in reality
Ballots and protests pickets are mostly ignored
Just like homeless folk’s cardboard...
