What is a home if the heart is not present?
As doubt blots out all that is justified;
Worries take control and in Man we confide.
Oblivious to God's teachings,
The heart's desires become constricted and in our chaos;
We block our blessings.
The flesh where our soul resides that is troubled shines bright as a lump of coal
As the mind thinks only of negativity.
The speech of the tongue is riddled with words spoken from our woes;
Takes root as tears of remorseful sadness invades where joy seeks tranquility,
And in that moment the heart recedes from fear of being corrupted.
All is not lost for He is forever present within you
And your darkest hour say His name and conquer yourself,
For fear is an emotion we are not to uphold amongst ourselves;
It is an emotion meant to fear His name and yet Honor His name in one breath.
Cast away all that is you and share everything with the One who created you
In His likeness and as the home that is your flesh becomes troubled;
the heart shall be forever present.
