the bird on the landing
outside my window
singing and chirping
away the day could life
be so simple to fly away
landing somewhere else
singing a new song to
some one else who has
no idea how far you've
come to sing your song
again and again to those
who will never open up
to let you in even if it was
storming outside wings
to tired for flying so you
land and start crying
