some one I know wanted to
take me to see a show
since it was a poetry reading
I wanted to go she got the
tickets because it was something
she wanted me to know
as we set in the booth watching
the show a poet came out
onto the stage and he began
to perform I was astonished
at the words coming out
of his mouth I stood up and
let out a silent shout this poet
got my vote because it was
the best poem I ever wrote
she asked me why wasn't I
mad all I could do was smile
if it was that good then it wasn't that bad
