you have to get your foot in the door
before it closes even if it hurts
take the first step the door will
get tired of trying to close on you
then it will open letting you in
once inside you will find a chair
with a bell on the floor beside it
take a seat in the chair pick up
the bell and ring it three times
the charm is in a cunning and
baffling way you're trapped into
where you wanted to be with no
idea of what's coming because
the door looked so appealing
the bell keeps on ringing long
after you have sat it down you
continually hear the sound of
someone coming you can get
up and run for the door but the
doors broken and wont open
you can sit there and start praying
hoping it's not as bad as it sounds
hoping it's a dream not as bad as
it seems from the inside wanting
to go outside where you were
but you're stuck behind the walls
and that bell wont stop its ringing
you're tired of sitting and waiting
for what's coming so you get up
and start running around the room
in a fit of madness in sheer panic
then the bell stops ringing the
door opens and you hear singing
free to go back to where you
were before you knocked on
the door to see what was on
the other side of your mind
