you know that feeling you get
when you start thinking of
things that are only important
to you trying to figure out
the ins ands and outs people
want to talk but don't know
what to say or how to say what
they feel inside but sometimes
you have to say it anyway
even if no one wants to hear
you came alone and that's
how you'll leave what people
think is obsolete not privy to
what you think you're the
only one with your brain
you're the only one feeling
your pain you're the only one
seeing through your eyes
no matter the price rise up
from what's holding you down
rise up though no one helps
you up off the ground every one
falls and crawls before they walk
