Gods Definition of a Street God's Definition of a Street Is what u see when u look at me Who use to run around yelling that it was Gerson Park til the death of me Big ole pistol in my pocket 1st one on the block & the last one 2 leave Brought up in the church house but the devil is who I chose 2 believe Everytime I'd run to get in trouble I'd always hear a small voice And torn between the streets & His favor it was hard to make a choice. Cause I had love 4 the both of em' but my life on this W/S was based on survival That's why it was so easy 2 pick up my gun and put down my bible. I knew what love looked & felt like cause I got it from my grandmas hugs but I let go of her & Gods Hands the day I fell in love with the streetlife & drugs Believe me, I regret alot of things Like choices I made & risks I took straight A student in school but went 2 the streets & became a crook. I settled for these crumbs out here I didn't know what the end results was gonna be I put my life on the line for my Krown and my comrades who wore black & green just like me. I am a Street N*×*a cause I've slept & cried in these streets I'm one of those that faced death everyday who didn't care if I died in these streets. But God's grace is something else kuz it measured me & broke me down to size, and God put me in a place where I couldn't do nothin but open my eyes. It's called prison & I earned my way in I was worse in there than I was on the streets but somewhere in my journey God's strengths and my weaknesses began 2 meet. And if I started goin 2 church What would the homies say about me, I didn't know how God worked Plus this streetlife was inbeded in me But God always has the last say so that's why I've chosen to surrender Now u see the birth of a man and the death of a gang member The Streets built a callus around my heart & my mind And God had to peel me like an onion One layer at A time. And I'm still trying to make sense of it all today while smokin my blunt and pouring a shot of liquor I am who I am with no excuses God's Definition of a Street !!!!

There's so much strength in your pen Street Gospel. "And God had to peel me like an onion One layer at A time" This spoke volumes. Thank you for sharing and welcome to the vibe!
