To have the opportunity to see another day

Blessed to be great in every single way

I'm given another day to right all the things I've wronged

To perfect my imperfections

The moment I open my eyes I thank God for allowing me to finish what I've started

To bring together what has been parted

I am blessed

To have air flowing through my lungs to breathe

Blessed to to have eyes for once I was blind now I see

Blessed with the ability to love so abundantly

I'm blessed to have experienced trouble

So that I'm able to appreciate the stubble

Blessed to have a peace of mind

Now knowing how to avoid distractions

And how not to waste my own time

I am blessed

Blessed to be able to watch my children grow

And see them live out the things

I've taught to them through my own personal growth

Blessed to have not permanently closed my eyes

Even when I couldn't see who I actually was

And tried to bring on my own demise

Blessed to remain strong and not let my soul get weak

Knowing how to keep the devil underneath my feet

Looking back on my life

I see the wrong I've done

I see when I didn't care for anyone

I see all the errors of my selfish ways

I see when I've had those depressing days

Now I know how to smile from the depths of my heart

And I thank my heavenly father for my brand new start

For forgiving me when I didn't do right

And presenting me with even clearer insight

At times when things began to get too stressed

I must not lose my peace

And remind myself that

I Am BLESSED!
