Created explanations

…suited for understanding,

Pursuit of status, style …or both

Perhaps, even …entertainment

From dark angels …regions formed

Alliances …to gain strength,

Against outside attacks

Pass …evil tidings to others

Moreso than your ancient brothers

To stave off …the invasions, sure to come…  

From other nation states, estates...

And in between…

While... there were the means

To subject …others

Substantial wealth or labor

…there were opportunities to feed

Greed… induced visions

Mirror reflections of conscious decisions

Much like ant colonies

Swarm and collect

The raw materials necessary

But, these colonies…

Not organized as a collective

Served and protected…

By one and all…

Are designed to serve the needs

Of the individual members

Of the gang …of thieves…

Now, serve the needs

…spawned by the beast…

Launching fleets …of…  

Ghost ships

Released for plunder

Cast evil shadows

Down mystic corridors

And those… trained…

To take advantage

Of the …deranged…

Arrangement…   

Set the next stage

As if… they…

Ransacked the world…

Between …the times

They turned to…

Displace their rage

Against one another…

For a lions share …of the spoils…

Claimed …by divine …right

Which …in hindsight…
