This is a special season. We identify as black. We are the originators, the soul creators. We are part of something special, each other. Martin made sacrifices and so have we. We have to make many more before its all over.
Its a long road filled with cobble stones and those with weak feet dont make it to Grandmas house.
The truth is... the big bad wolf lies in all of us. We just have to choose not to feed him.
So heres to you, Martin and Malcolm and the to all of the leaders that gave their full measure of devotion to our highest goal, being black and proud of it.
