often we immortalize our idols
whether we know them personally
or not it hits us hard when they die
because we suddenly realize
our own fragile mortality
we feel striking jolts of
lightening bolts of unexplained
shock waves numbed pain
what does this mean I asked

over someone they never met
it reminds me of how much
