tarnishing your shine to rust one
single lie told on you can throw
you off of your throne cast you
out of your castle with an empty
sheave and a broken crown
strip you of all your jewels and
tangible valuables reducing you
from a pillar to a grain of salt not
enough to preserve your legacy
flaming tongues can maliciously
brutalize torch and  burn your empire
down to the ground leaving you
with no foundation underneath
your feet to stand on a fall with
nothing to land on your life gone
tortured terrorize and stoned alive
 you're done, you're finish you're
 through all on the count  of a story
that was told about you a story
that was published a story that
went viral a story that wasn't true
a wicked planted seed that grew
into a tree bearing deceptive fruit
of assumptions most consumed
quenching their thirst with bitter
nectar of  situated fabrications 
deceived tried convicted and
condemned to outer darkness
all on the count of a fictitious
story told and written about you
the majority believed to be true
