I'm addicted to writing poetry
like a crack addict I got to do it
chase the rabbit for the carrot
fallen in deeper every time
in a stupor off these lines
like venetian blinds blank like
me inbox white like tube socks
off to the races can't stop
on a mission 2,020 pieces
before losing 2020 vision
goal driven like a gold digger
no problem goes unfigured
focused on completion
to what I pledge allegiance
not alone inside this home
music's on it sings me song
on 432 Hz heart frequency
positively vibrating poetically
on high intensified octave's
I quit smoking weed but me
Muse smokes loud frequently
nothing more amusing to me
then to see a spirit buzzed
it works for me for creativity
like a prophet on a pilgrimage
step by step nearing the
kingdom I rep standing in
the cleft over by the cliff
tooth prints in me bottom lip
teeth marks in a pen cap
two sips from a nightcap
composed of a highball
can't close these eyeballs
these lids just won't fall
up tweaking hearing voices
depending on who's speaking
keeping an eye on the clock
coz its hands keep moving
