I'll be here you won't come and find me gone if you do I want you to know I been here waiting for you to come that's all I ever done days were lonely nights were even harder too but I managed to keep my mind and my eyes out for you coming up the winding road I paved every day to make a way so you could arrive safe without stumbling or tripping on the way because if you fall down I won't forgive myself because I took too many precautions to secure your steps I made a ramp incase you're still on wheels the railings strong on the stairway to the upper room where I wait for your return every single day without seeing your face I try but nothing will ever replace what you mean to me your fire touched me I wasn't consumed in your flames it hurt so good I felt no pain these are things most difficult to explain even those who understand won't hear a thing who stands beneath a tree listening to a bird singing to a bee that would be me allergic to the sting
