TENDERIZED FEAR…

It’s not that I am not afraid,

It’s just that I am not scared

We shall not overcome…

For the liberated sufferer

Knows that god defeats all evil

Consummating victory…

And the only thing to be

Afraid of is that it may not be

Realized that there is no victory

Independent of faithful battle…

I’m not afraid, just scared

That some may forget that we are

Children of the Exodus—

Surviving heirs of those Ancestors

Who were welled acquainted

With suffering pandemonium—

And that this present pandemic scare

Will be overcome

And we can get back to the struggle

Against injustice promoting distancing

Social and economic inequalities

Spanning our ethnic and gender categories...

A picture may be

Worth a thousand words;

But the Word itself,

Is priceless—whispering

Grace…

Humanity has been gifted

To control predators

That threatens our lives

Physical and spiritual health;

But it is God who controls healing…

Our restoration must thus be met

Both with humanity’s treatment

And His healing power…

A picture may be

Worth a thousand words inking truth

But the Word of God itself is priceless—

Whispering Grace—Word!
