wonder about the world
while gravitating towards
alienated enlightenment
wandering about the world
in a state of childlike
excitement even in an
epic proportion of carbon
dated trending pending
socialized pandemics
stemed and steeped in
what lies beneath the sea
around about the hemline
clinging to the shoreline
no intent on letting go
of the fire she upheld
when America was great
we were great also
so let it be and let it be so
