While pandemonium
challenges us all, it does not
do so with equanimity.
Togetherness implies sharing
equally but in a racist society,
equanimity will always be
a distant hope.
If there is any truth in the axiom
“together we stand, divided we fall”,
why is America a nation
that’sfalling apart?
