a lesson I learned I thought I share I arrived hungry to a crowded gathering the host ushered me in pointed at a buffet table covered with luscious food and told me to help myself I thought it would be thoughtful to let every onelse go before me I guess I wasn't that hungry by the time I emerged from the back of the line there were a few grapes on a platter along with a piece of chicken that looked like it was bit I left the event full of emptiness what did I learn from this experience... being too nice can be a curse if one has not helped oneself first
