I once had a coloring book
I colored in it all the time
the best part was coloring
outside the lines
picking colors from a box
of broken crayons
the sun was blue the trees
were red collected in a
shoebox under my bed
all the pictures I colored
when I was child had not
seen them in awhile
looking through them
put a big smile on my face
finding what I had misplaced
I had found my inner child
