if I had to grow wings and fly to
tell you I love you I would try to
do the silliest thing to get a point
across the sea through clouds
to reach other galaxies to cure
this disease endlessly growing
since you been gone because
of you I been strong through
there have been storms upon
storms rolling in like thunder
before rain showers life is but
hours and days away from
strands of old and gray rises
up through the soil taken
root like a foot in a shoe
it didn't fit but still I tried to
walk in your shadow so I
could always be with you
it so much I want to tell you
things I been going through
so I'll continue to patiently
