Today I’ll rest my case on the mere facts that this country wasn’t built by way of love but yes every bit of hate.
A hate that has manifested for centuries & has just now evolved into a declaration of pure misery.
It was the Fort McHenry battle that prompted the words “Land of the free & home of the brave,” which must’ve been a neglectful oversight that looked just beyond those trail of tears and shackled slaves.
See during those very times is when the foundation was laid & it was also when this country became truly cemented in it’s hostile ways.
By ways of coercion she (America) took away from those things that she had no rights to; a murderous appetite with no limits of what she was willing to do.
The suspect (America) killed cultural traditions & beliefs & ushered in a sense of fear that to this day remains unleashed.
Much similar to the aggression of a rabid dog her ideologies have now angered & sicken us all.
We (Us black folks) are fed up with this non-reciprocating, lack of relationship & have subsequently elected to detach.
No longer are willing to give to something that’s not willing to give back.
We give her (America) all of our hopes & dreams & in return she gives nothing but moments when George Floyd screamed “I can not breathe!!”
We now protest 7 days a week for the 7 hateful shots that made Jacob’s Blake blood soaked T-shirt leak.
We shed tear drops into open wounds & watch grief stricken family members listen to lies on how a no knock led to a bullet riddled Breonna’s room.
See it’s always a over-kill when it comes to us & even with a legal firearm somehow the officer found a way to betray Philando’s trust.
I once believed that movies & music could be used as a common denominator with regards to being socially connected
however it was CD’s and DVD’s that led to Alton Sterling being both assaulted & disrespected.
See he was ultimately murdered by a over zealous cop that called him “a stupid muth***er!” Just before his heart stopped.
So I ask how do we continue to pledge allegiance to a flag that systematically miss led us & took away all that we had?
America in the midst of all ur beauty we now demand of you to fulfill your proclaimed duty.
The duty of providing equality amongst all of your people & with precision make those needed steps to weed out every bit of greed, hate & evil.
I beg not for us but for all of you (America) because our temperament is now a struggle to hold back on all those things that we wish to undo.
No longer are we willing to ask for a prayerful change however we are with coercion now ready to implement the necessary pain in order for us to achieve a necessary gain.
America home of the “United States”
& home to a collection of black & browns who’ve been historically mishandled & this fact isn’t up for debate.
The clock is ticking & we’re fresh out of wait 😡
